COME HOME TO YOUR MAGNIFICENCE *
A 7-Day Journey of Breath, Body + Spirit
April 25 - May 1, 2026 | Ubud, Bali
RECONNECT. RECLAIM. REMEMBER.
Join us in the sacred lands of Ubud, Bali for a soul-awakening, body-restoring, and truth-telling retreat led by three master-level facilitators with over 50 years of combined experience.
This is not a retreat to escape your life—this is where you come to live it more fully.
In the arms of the jungle, among rice terraces and fire ceremonies, you’ll be held in a deeply transformative space to return to the essence of who you are:
The part of you that is whole.
The part that remembers.
The part that is ready.
You’ll leave with tools to regulate your nervous system, complete emotional loops, and cultivate loving, honest connection with yourself and others.
This is sacred work. This is soul work. This is YOUR work.
-
Clear the noise, reconnect to your truth, and rewire old narratives. This is the space where insight meets self-responsibility—and transformation begins.
-
Move, breathe, and feel it all. Your body is your wisest guide. Through breathwork and bodywork, we’ll unlock stored tension and return you to your magnificence.
-
Come home to the parts of you that were never broken. In sacred connection with self, others, and nature—your soul remembers who you are.
Every part of you is welcome here.
The parts you love, the parts you hide, the parts you’re still learning to hold.
this journey is for you if…
You’re ready to shed the old stories—trauma loops, outdated identities, and survival strategies that no longer serve
You’re craving real connection—to your body, your truth, your wildness, and to others who meet you there
You want both the science and the sacred—nervous system healing with a side of soul
You’re calling in more joy, more ease, and the kind of sovereignty that comes from deep self-responsibility
You’re DONE performing, people-pleasing, shrinking, and pretending to have it all together
You want depth. You want freedom. You’re ready to remember who you are.

Tucked away in the lush hills of Ubud, Amori Villas is more than a place to stay — it’s a sanctuary for transformation. With only seven suites and villas, the entire property feels intimate, sacred, and designed for connection. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and every detail whispers: you are cared for.
Here, retreat isn’t just about what you do — it’s about how you feel. Wake to the sound of the jungle, nourish your body with vibrant Balinese food, and move with the rhythm of yoga in the treetop shala. After breathwork, melt into a massage, float in the infinity pool overlooking the valley, or slip into stillness surrounded by nature.
Every moment at Amori invites you inward: to rest, to expand, to play, to rediscover yourself. With more than 20 staff dedicated to just 16–18 guests, the care is personal, the service is exquisite, and the atmosphere is infused with warmth.
This is not a hotel stay. This is coming home — in Bali’s most soulful setting.

Grand Double Suite
The views from this suite will bring instant peace and relaxation. Whether it is from the “stargazing balcony”, the desk in the bay window or from the elegant king-size bed – pictures don’t do it justice. Or if that is not enough, you have secluded luxury with a huge indoor/ outdoor bathroom – viewing window to the valley, choice of two showers, a huge sunken terrazzo bath and a fish pond. A romantic dinner for two on your balcony is highly recommended.

ROOM THREE
This suite has everything you might want, except for views and a bath. It is extremely private and perfect for couples where one is a reader and the other prefers to watch TV. It is spacious – 50 sq m of bedroom and bathroom, plus another 40 sq m of garden and walled courtyard. The beautifully bright bedroom has double sliding doors on two sides, opening onto the garden. And the large, fully-marble bathroom also has a garden window.
Essentials – airconditioning, ceiling fan, TV, desk, hairdryer and makeup mirror.
Bedding options: King-size Double, Twin or Triple.
Garden Villa
ROOM FOUR
Dreaming of a 4-poster bed and a Balinese massage, followed by a fragrant flower-petal bath in a beautiful terrazzo bath?
Being at Amori’s highest point, you will have panoramic and relaxing views from everywhere in the bedroom and the bathroom. The Honeymoon Suite is spacious and very comfortable for quiet reading or watching movies from your 4-poster bed, etc. Butler service is just a phone call away.
Essentials – air-conditioning, ceiling fan, mosquito netting, smart TV, hairdryer, makeup mirror.
King-size double bed.
Grand Double SUITE
ROOM FIVE
Privately and peacefully set amongst the lush tropical trees, Amori’s one-bedroom villa can sleep 4 or 5 people. Or is it spacious luxury for a couple? Apart from the king-size double/twin bedroom and enormous indoor/outdoor bathroom, there is a separate lounge and verandah with day bed. This is your home away from home….with housekeeping and butler service.
Essentials – air-conditioning, ceiling fan, smart TV, desk, hairdryer, makeup mirror.
Bedding options: King-size Double or Twin, plus double sofa-bed and/or extra single bed.
TREEHOUSE VILLA
King-size double bed plus 1 or 2 extra single beds. Kingfisher Villa is so named because it is close to the river. From the verandah you can see the whitewater rapids and, hopefully, you will also catch a glimpse of one of the 3 bright blue Java Kingfishers which live on the other side of the river and often fly past to go fishing.
Note: The privacy of the location comes with the potential disadvantage of an 80 metre walk, 6 flights of stairs and a bridge over a deep ravine. We strongly suggest that families with children aged 4 or less will be better suited to the safety and convenience of the Treehouse Villa
kingfisher villa
ROOM SIX
Amori’s Classic Villas overlook the river, with amazing deep valley views. Connect with the surrounding nature and enjoy peace and privacy.
Heaven Spring Villa is a traditional gledag or wooden house, rebuilt using the original timber. The wood creates a unique experience and feeling. There is a very large bedroom with king-size 4-poster canopy bed, a daybed/extra single bed, and space for another single bed. The room has both air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. There is a TV and a desk. The bathroom/ dressing room is large with a shower and elegant claw-foot bath… with a reading lamp. For relaxing and occasional dining, there is a verandah with a settee and table/chairs.

Meet David - Somatic Practitioner, Psychic, Energy Worker, Lover of light and bringer of joy and depth
How are you going? I'm Dave.
I was called to this work from a young age, although I didn’t know that then. For quite a lot of years I would connect to the people in Spirit and see things. It actually made life very difficult for me, I thought I was going partly crazy for a long time. It wasn’t until I discovered Buddhism and meditation in my late teens. That guided me towards psychic and personal development meditation, which was then I realised I had found my calling. I soon after cultivated a close relationship to my Spirit Guides. This then paved the way for me to start doing psychic/medium readings at 21 years old. It was at that time I started my professional journey. Hearing Spirit clearly and being able to share loving information to people that helped them to live a more fulfilling life. As well as pass information from loved ones that had passed on to assist understanding and connection. Having my Spirit Guides and the Masters (Master Spirit Guides) as my mentors from then. I have been able to develop my energetic, psychic and medium skills. Along the way I have had formal Training with Counselling at university and gained many more accreditations. To see the full buffet of skills go to davidmjohn.com).
Ultimately, my gift is loving people. I love to love and to help people feel loved and supported. And my ability to love you fully tends to help you to do the same for you. Recognising your awesome beauty and individual quirks as an incredible gift. It is the gift I share with each person I connect with. I do this by being totally authentic in my own fun and eccentric way; Knowing I can only help you bring out your best by being in mine as well.
I have specialised in areas including substance abuse, trauma release, and psychic development, past life healing and reading but at the heart of it all, I’m here to make growth easier, lighter, and way more fun. I love cutting through the fluffy, Whoo woo to give you down-to-earth tools that actually work long-term — so you can live a truly fabulous life.
When I’m not helping people connect with their true needs and gifts. I am either in the ocean somewhere, scuba diving, surfing, swimming or walking on the beach. I love travel and have been a digital Nomad since October 2024. I love meeting new people and having new experiences. I always love to learn and experience new things.

Meet Amanda Foulkes – Somatic Practitioner, Intuitive Bodyworker, Energy Medicine Woman
Hi, I’m Amanda.
I’ve been a passionate bodyworker for over 25 years, dedicated to supporting people in reconnecting with their bodies in meaningful and transformative ways.
Throughout my career, I’ve trained in a wide range of modalities — including remedial massage, dry needling, integrated spinal energetics, and osteopathic techniques — and have had the privilege of working as a soft tissue therapist with numerous state and national high-performance sporting teams. These diverse experiences have shaped my intuitive, responsive approach to treatment. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, I tune in to what’s most aligned for the person in front of me, in that particular moment. I believe our bodies and beings form a deeply interconnected, dynamic system — one that benefits from flexibility, presence, and curiosity in how we approach healing and regulation.
One of the greatest joys in my work is witnessing someone reestablish trust in their body’s innate wisdom. Having personally come through years of physical stress and disconnection, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for how profoundly intelligent and regenerative the body truly is. It’s my honour to share that sense of awe and possibility with others. Outside of the clinic, I’m deeply passionate about freediving — a practice that continues to be a vital part of my own healing journey. It invites me to explore the stunning oceanic landscapes of our planet while deepening my connection with breath, presence, and the capabilities of the human body.
I’m so looking forward to sharing this retreat space with you, and holding a grounded, supportive container for nervous system regulation, embodiment, and discovery.
With love, Amanda

Meet Mel - Clinical & Forensic Psychologist I Breathwork Facilitator I Pattern Observer & Truth Teller
Hi, I’m Mel! – I never meant to be, though I am a disrupter of the status quo when it comes to what you may know of clinical psychology. I’m the founder of Zenso House and host of The Place for Connection podcast.
I blend science and spirit, psychology and physiology, theory and intuition. I'm not here to help you escape life—I'm here to help you build a life you don’t need to escape from. One that feels honest, embodied, connected. A life where all parts of you are welcome.
In Bali, I’ll be a guide, an anchor, a place to fall. I’ll support you to observe yourself with compassion, get curious about your patterns, and meet your shadows with open arms. I’ll help you understand your body’s signals, untangle the nervous system, and integrate the magic of this journey so it sticks when you return home.
I’ll be co-facilitating functional and experiential breathwork, offering education to help you land what you’re learning, and holding space for the deep stuff—grief, joy, resistance, relief, and everything in between.
This isn’t just breathwork. This is a full-bodied return to self, others, nature, and truth.
A little about me - I am trained as a clinical and forensic psychologist, breathwork facilitator, Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapist (in my 8th year of training), sessional lecturer, Board Approved Supervisor to Psychologists, swimming & running enthusiast. In my private life, I have two beautiful children & I am married. I believe the path to creating great relationships is through deep self understanding and self responsibility. I am your emotions, anxiety, and psychological defences expert. Whilst I won't be your psychologist on this journey, I will be around to support, educate & empower.
With love, Mel.
